So I’ve been taking part in this mixtrade that a friend of mine started where each month someone makes a mix and sends it off to the other people on the list. My turn was in November and in lieu of the normal collection of music, I opted to go with a vague concept which may have turned out totally awesome or utterly failed. I guess you can decide.

There are a ton of videos that I have come across on the internet which contain really amazing songs which are completely un-locatable for one reason or another. Sometimes they are unreleased, sometimes they are played live and in one case just a practice session with a friend. I decided to start ripping the audio from these songs and while the quality isn’t always very good, it’s really important to me that these compositions stick around. Besides, fidelity never really bothered me much when it didn’t need to and you can’t be picky when you are ripping a soundtrack straight out of a DVD.

Anyways, I’m sure you have seen a bunch of these on here before (especially the indie rock stuff) but it never hurts to have them all in one place. You can download the songs individually or download the whole mix all at once via the zip file.
