Hard to really pinpoint what genre Caribou would fall under. Some of the older stuff would be downtempo or hip hop, but the new songs sound like they using everyone at once to play as a full band so.. I dunno, maybe electronic? I think they put it in the indie rock section of Ameoba (right?) so maybe I’ll stick with that for now. Either way, the new album Andorra is amazing. I even got inspired and dug up the old re-issue of Start Breaking My Heart, which is what made me start paying attention in the first place. They both are great for different reasons but whatever.. just listen to them if you haven’t already.
