I have been in a super good mood lately, but then I put on Salem’s record King Night and now I want to do bad things to good people. This shit is so evil sounding that it makes metal look like a poseur. Sure metal, go ahead, talk tough and loud. You may be aggressive, but you don’t sound like a slow rape and murder in a dark wood at midnight. Despite my scarily apathetic mood, I was pretty excited for the whole drag/witch house scene in general only to discover that the rest of the artists can’t hold a torch to this feeling. Sure, they’re slow and plodding, but they lack that dark ambiance that exudes from the three members of Salem. Anyways, since no one here is probably slitting someone throat right now, the only thing you can do is crush a handful of Percocets up into a strong drink and nod the fuck out..
