Wimple Winch

They never produced a full length album, but the UK’s Wimple Winch managed to put out a string of amazing singles starting in 1966. While it’s painfully apparent that you can find the Who’s influence in many of their songs, the dirty, psych riffs stand up more than okay on their own. Also.. ‘Save My Soul’s’ guitar freakouts shred real hard, so The Who can go fuck off and play pinball somewhere.

Wimple Winch – Marmalade Hair

Wow, I can’t believe you remembered that. I can’t believe I remember you remembering that… (I like the Who a lot).
