Yeah yeah, Burger Records put this out a while back and yeah yeah it’s from Berkeley.. but what else you got? This record sorta rules from top to bottom and works so well as a road trip album, I played it while driving through the desert and while I was in the mountains. How many albums can sync up with that much nature and still sound on point? To be honest, I don’t even know what to call this genre anymore since it houses so many different elements. Psych pop, lo-fi electo? You can play it next to bands like Part Time or Mac Demarco and then turn around to play it after a Bryan Ferry record. Fuck, music is confusing. Luckily, no one else besides a handfull of nerds on the internet care what you call it. Everyone else just wants to dance.
