Warm Soda

We’ve been waiting for a 70s-inspired power-pop record to be this dead on for a long time. Gentleman Jesse got close but landed somewhere between Elvis Costello and the Exploding Hearts, and even Warm Soda’s Matthew Melton gave it a go with his previous and much loved San Francisco outfit Bare Wires. With this new project he nailed it with a pitch-perfect AM radio sound and some ripping pop hits. Fuzzy, down-stroking simplicity layered with catchy choruses about girls and run through a series of vintage compressors to produce your favorite glam record of this year.
