Wet Illustrated

Quirky Bay Area avant-poppers Wet Illustrated released their “1x1x1″ debut LP last year. It drunkenly stumbles from hook-filled basement pop to jittery art-punk and back again without feeling like a record trying to take on too many influences. Kind of sounds like three east-bay goof-punks trying their hands at the warbling psych-pop of the Ganglians. An infectious, posi-summertime vibe that has me aching for beach weather and daytime beers.
